Natural Stone Adhesive

A concentrated mixture of additives for the manufacture or "on the site preparation" of cementitious adhesives for tile, ceramic and (http://maplered.com) Stone (http://g603.net) installation. Portland (http://maplered.com) cement, sand (http://maplered.com) , Marble (http://www.lightemprador.com) powder and (http://maplered.com) softHARC A are mixed with sufficient water to prepare the adhesive. 

Properties and (http://maplered.com) Advantages:

·  Provides excellent bonding power.

·  Strong tackiness helps to hold heavy Stone (http://g603.net) s in position on the wall.

·  Sufficient time for application.

·  Much less storage space, compared to conventional adhesives.

·  Much less transportation cost, compared to conventional adhesives.

·  Fresh adhesive mixture can be prepared when it is required.

·  Amount of SoftHARC A can be modified to obtain optimum results.

·  More economical than conventional adhesives.

·  Anti-bacterial protection.

Recommended formulation :
To 1 bag of Portland (http://maplered.com) cement (50 Kg), add:

1- 75 Kg Silica sand (http://maplered.com)
2- 25 Kg Fine Marble (http://www.lightemprador.com) powder (calcium carbonate)
3- 1 Packet of SoftHARC A (1 Kg)
4- Water; sufficient for the required consistency.

Mix cement, sand (http://maplered.com) , Marble (http://www.lightemprador.com) powder and (http://maplered.com) SoftHARC A with water thoroughly to obtain a homogeneous mixture. Preferably use a cement mixer.

Packing :
20 x 1 Kg polyethylene bags in a cardboard box. Also available in bulk.

Hand (http://maplered.com) ling and (http://maplered.com) storage :
Preferably use the whole bag at one time. Once opened, the contents of the bag must be protected from humidity if not used immediately. Sealed packs can be stored at temperatures between 0 to 30 ^oC for one year. Do not expose the packages to direct sun light for long periods.
